New Data Shows Increase in Construction Bidding Across the US

Per a the US construction industry may bounce-back even sooner than experts predicted. Comparing numbers to pre-pandemic months, total bid volume was up 15% in November 2020 and 36% in January, with the latter an all-time high on the Autodesk platform. According to construction economist Edward Zarenski, this increase in construction bidding is possibly due to restarts of projects that had been delayed or rescheduled during the pandemic.
